The Montana Association of Registered Land Surveyors (MARLS) Scholarship Foundation is a nonprofit offering scholarship funds to students who have graduated or are anticipating graduation from a Montana High School and are interested in pursuing an education in surveying at a Montana institution. Scholarship funds are also available for students entering the 2nd year of a 2-year surveying curriculum or the 3rd year of a 4-year curriculum with a surveying emphasis. 

The MARLS Scholarship Foundation conducts fundraising annually for its scholarships, with Montana surveyors pitching in the lion’s share. The organization supports 5-6 promising student surveyors each year for the past 20 years.

2026-2027 MARLS Scholarship Foundation’s applications are due by July 31, 2026
